The Prominence of Faith – Part 2

As the overall goal of ministry is to bring others to Christ, which is and always will be by a supernatural process of the Holy Spirit. It will at times require some natural means to accomplish, including money but this overwhelming concern by leadership for getting the money is what creates a problem.

As I said, there are spiritual principles that must be considered and it is regarding those who are to be ministered to, and those to be used by the Spirit of God to get it done. Nothing else should be placed ahead of this in the aspects of faith to do God’s will.

Math 9:37-38 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; 38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

Jesus said to pray for workers and said nothing about money to those whom He chose in providing their means to do so, money was not a required action of that prayer. His focus is on what the Holy Spirit accomplishes through one person’s faith, not on what it will take to get there but on what God will do through them.

Math 10:1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

Believers are supposed to do ministry in some form or another for a transformation of souls as faithful workers, having the same intent and concern in their hearts as the Father. But the principles associated with doing this are not resting upon money or any natural works provided. Everything God does is founded upon principles He has set forth to be done through each believer as His offspring by the presence of the Holy Spirit.

The fact Jesus has oversight of it all, reveals He sees beyond the realm of time and knows the needs of all things both natural and spiritual whether of individuals or nations in advance. So, there are two things revealed next for us to garner knowledge and understanding of truth regarding blessings from God.

Gen 22:15-18 (AMP) In blessing I will bless you and in multiplying I will multiply your descendants like the stars of the heavens and like the sand on the seashore. And your Seed (Heir) will possess the gate of His enemies,

First: In this day of the Church those called sons and daughters of the Highest, have by faith a right to every manner of blessing He bestowed upon Abraham. This includes any natural and spiritual resource for maintaining a believer’s overall health of spirit, soul, and body.

18 And in your Seed [Christ] shall all the nations of the earth be blessed and [by Him] bless themselves, because you have heard and obeyed My voice.

Second: Blessings Abraham received were purposed for spiritual outcomes God had predetermined to occur, thus empowered to bless the one receiving them for that purpose. Thus, Abraham’s blessings led to an increase multiplied by an exponential amount because they were supernaturally sourced.

The fact that many ministries are in financial trouble today reveals a lack of truth for knowledge and understanding of God’s word to grow faith regarding the type of wealth and riches He will provide.

Rom 4:7-8 Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, And whose sins are covered; 8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not impute sin

The word translated blessed in the previous verse is the Greek word (makarios) from a root (makarizō) meaning “large, lengthy, and in this verse expressed, “to pronounce blessed,”. In other words, believers have a declared position of increase or blessing that cannot be deferred or defined except by a lack of faith to receive it.

You should be shouting right now because if you are a believer then you are positioned for blessings you cannot receive by religious works or fulfill by doctrinal rituals, or reach by some theological prowess, what is yours by faith is in Jesus Christ.

Mark 11:22-24 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

I am going to repeat this for sake of understanding since one’s faith is not founded on what you say but on what God has said, it makes it “supernaturally” empowered. The above verse in another translation says to have the faith of God, so whatever the translation the importance is faith is given to enable a believer’s ability to do something that by nature they cannot do. In the case of blessings, it brings into manifestation something that exists in the realm of Spirit-led faith operating by the principles God set in place.

Luke 12:28-31 If then God so clothe the grass, which is today in the field, and tomorrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? 29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. 30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. 31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Today many are seeking elevated levels of faith for things they are already blessed with but do not know. The reason He says to the disciples, Oh, ye of little faith, is because they struggled to keep faith over things in their life, they have very little of and it forces them to not understand how faith will obtain it.

This comes down to seeking the first things first, then receiving whatever else is needed since there is an expectation by God for all believers to be obedient in faith to the revealing of Christ, His Son.

There are things of God that before were hidden but are now known through faith in the word of the prophets and commandments of God. And it is so the power that is to be seen both then and now is freely flowing through those who by faith operate it.

Rom 16:25-26 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, 26 But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

Your having faith is never founded upon denominational power or the abundance of its wealth to prowess an ability. It is faith that reveals the power and ability of God at work. Ministry is, regardless of denomination or religious organization you associate with a fulfilling of the intent and concern in the heart of God nothing else.

1 Cor 2:2-11 For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. 3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. 4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: 5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

As Paul asserts above any who comes to Christ because of one’s ministry, witness, or testimony should occur by the manifestation of the power of God by the faith of the one ministering, through the Holy Spirit. This is so those ministered to will have faith to receive the spiritual blessing of it, and not in that ministry that revealed it.

6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:

Bringing the power of God into manifestation is not done by any naturally known process but by perceiving God’s intent and the concern for His will to be done.

7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: 8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

The previous scripture says words spoken are seen as wisdom not known by worldly orders of power but wisdom that in the past was hidden. However, if known we can assume ignorance would not have crucified Christ.

9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

Believers must be capable of perceiving the purpose of those things the Holy Spirit is making known to the Church in this day and hour. This requires an increased faith so what is revealed confirms it is aligned with God’s will. And since it is made known they clearly see that only He would know such things.

There is nothing that is so spiritually deep that He would keep it from believers when they by faith trust Him to be the revealer of it. However, as we have seen nothing about faith accommodates mediocrity. But it is being purposed by pulpits who themselves are without faith in the ability of the Lord who presides over them.
