Today in many Christian’s lives there’s an issue that is present where there’s this focus more on money than on they’re individual spiritual well being as a result of the covenant they have with God. This can be seen in the level of anxiety that exists right now in this nation and in the world even among Christians over money or the availability of it as its effected by this virus pandemic. The number of people more focused on the economy’s well being than on they’re own or someone else’s spiritual well being just might surprise you, but the real issue in that is not the money it’s the power it has to get what they want.
Think about this; Money has no power on its own it has to rely upon those who want it to empower its means. In A Christian’s every day living there needs to be presence of honor and equity so that everything and everyone is seen as an equal effort through covenants, regardless of who may be the primary source of any resources. When Christians worry or worse are fearful about financial collapse and say the reason is government, plagues, disasters, and God invoked judgments or calamities they’re lying, the real reason is they don’t know how to manage their own prospering of soul by a covenant with God.
There are principles that lead to anyone having wealth within a covenant with God that affects marriage, or family heritage or business, but none of it is founded upon a power of money, it’s all founded upon truth that prospers one’s soul. 3 John 1:2 (AMP) Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. Look at this verse; What does it say? It says that there’s a way to prosper in everything and be healthy, and all of it is according to the prospering of your soul. How does your soul prosper? Isa 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
So where does God send His word?
Ps 107:19-21 (AMP)Then they cry to the Lord in their trouble, and He delivers them out of their distresses. 20 He sends forth His word and heals them and rescues them from the pit and destruction. 21 Oh, that men would praise [and confess to] the Lord for His goodness and loving-kindness and His wonderful works to the children of men! He sends His word to His creation and those who are in covenant with Him by the truth revealed in it find a way to be free from the destruction that occurs upon this world. This truth is not given to just the leaders of the church, who may or may not have ability to pass it on to His sheep, it is to the whole of humanity for the well being of all.
Money cannot buy happiness or peace or comfort from the conflicts of soul that occur regardless of origin, even if you have billions in your bank account not one cent can heal you of a pandemic or more importantly provide eternal life in Jesus Christ. While it can assist in the processes of bringing forth comfort to the soul and body , it has no power to bring deliverance from sin and iniquity that sustain spiritual death. That only comes from the Lord by the Holy Spirit’s presence working in the heart and mind of the individual to have faith in God’s ability to do what appears to be impossible.
God’s word has been crafted by Him to purposely bring change to only one thing in all of His creation HUMANITY. John 8:31-32 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. What’s the basis for truth in the first place? The word was in the beginning; John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Jesus came to reveal the truth that changes anyone from a sinner in the sight of God to a person having a righteous relationship with Him in just moments. John 1:12-14 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
The prosperity of soul is dependent upon the truth that comes from God’s word to bring faith into our lives. Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. The mind is part of the soul and is the vessel where all truth is going to be intellectually determined pertaining to one’s life and Godliness but it’s faith in what God says established in the heart that holds onto such truths. All of this is really very easy for us to understand, in that any wealth regarding money or finances or material goods that is economically prosperous in a life of covenant is only if a soul prospers by the word of God. And a soul is only prosperous when the word brings a change to the very nature within, so that the principles of faith God lives by are applied to a life where He abides by covenant.
