ISRAEL NEEDS A UNITED CHURCH NOT A UNITED NATIONS

In light of the latest tribunal over Israel and her right to land and developments within her own borders, there is one thing that does not appear to have changed much over the centuries regarding the Church and Israel. The scriptures reveal that those who bless Israel will be blessed, and those who curse her will be cursed. This is obviously something that many Christians do not clearly understand as over the centuries it has been the manner of the Church corporate to discard any interactive spiritual union with Israel or its Judaic roots, as the Jews are typically seen as being outside of a so-called perimeter of faith. Thus a void exists within the Church that began early on in its history and continues to be present even today.

This void is intentionally kept in place by those who see Israel as not having any spiritual aspirations. 5 Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace.6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work. 7 What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks, but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded. Rom. 11: 5-7 Even though Israel lost its ability to perceive its God-ordained purpose as the Church, there is a remnant as mentioned here that is being kept under God’s grace in Israel.

Israel’s past spiritual leaders celebrated religiously to the extent and degree that such celebrations resulted in an appearance of a religious stupor, as illustrated in reference to their vomiting up self-righteousness all over the place as is written in Isa 28:5-16. Something that even exists today in many of the churches within the mainstream denominations. And yet throughout the Old and New Testament God has revealed that He will not cast away His nation Israel. He does not forget what He has decreed to come to pass, because everything He does revolves around her.

He says that Israel is under an everlasting covenant and that they are not only to possess the land as they do now and will in the end but more importantly that it cannot be taken away from them. 8 He hath remembered his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations. 9 Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac; 10 And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant: 11 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance: Ps 105:8-11

Nothing can remove Israel from God’s plans especially any religious doctrines that say they are not of today’s Church and have been replaced by those who are grafted in. Paul reveals that through their fall the Lord brought salvation upon the Gentiles, this was to provoke Israel to enter in, which was the spiritual purpose behind this move. 11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. Rom 11:11 As we can see Israel failed to fulfill its spiritual purpose as the Church due to its religious indifference to such truths. But instead of God removing them from being His nation of purpose, He continued to work by the Spirit of God to retain them.

God’s intention was to provoke Israel and make them see that He is bringing the Gentiles into the very blessings and promises that they were to possess by faith in Christ. We Gentiles are now by faith in possession of Israel’s promised inheritance. 12 Now if their fall is riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more their fullness! Rom. 11: 12

So for today’s believers, it’s important to know that if Israel missed their riches in Christ by the result of unbelief. How much more such riches would be present if Israel were fulfilling their true purpose as the Church. The Church of today must understand that every blessing is by inheritance to us who are grafted in, and in our possession to not only be a blessing to others but more importantly provoke Israel through blessings. We the Church have no claim to the inheritance of the Jews except through Christ, and every spiritual blessing that is brought into the Church for the reconciliation of the world is to also be used in ministering to Israel. 13 For I speak to you Gentiles; inasmuch as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, 14 if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh and save some of them.15 For if their being cast away is the reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? Rom. 11: 13-15

When Israel comes to the truth by provocation it will be worth it, as their coming will result in everlasting life, His hidden purpose for them and all creation. But the Church today denies them any such blessings by maintaining its religious fervor of spiritual abstinence.

These next three verses are extremely important to today’s believers in that they reveal a mystery that is relevant to all the Church, a mystery that has been badly convoluted by centuries of philosophical doctrine. A mystery that if truly known by all the parts of the Church body would change the very character of all who are to live in righteousness. 16 For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. 17 And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, 18 do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you. Rom. 11: 16-18

This mystery has to do with the very spiritual character of the Church as it is to be seen on this earth. A character that is to be the same as the root that is mentioned here. The root and trunk as referenced are the spiritual commonwealths of Israel established upon Judaic principles that are supernaturally rooted in Christ, the anointed Holy One of Israel. The Church is purposed to produce fruits of righteousness, and must come to see that the SAP flowing through this tree is the righteous character of God as revealed through Christ who is the root nourishing the whole trunk to which all the branches are affixed. 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. John 15:4-5

All branches are connected to the one trunk to be resourced by the same nourishing SAP in order to bring about fruit that is from a righteous and incorruptible seed. 23 having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever, 1 Peter 1:23 (NKJV) Jesus Christ is the root, He came into the earth through Israel, thus Christianity is of the Jews first and not the Gentiles. Meaning we who are the Gentile Church do not possess the tree that possesses us. Thus the authority that was to prevail through Israel in this earth has now been routed through those who have been grafted in. So did you get that? Israel deserves to have a united Church supporting and standing up for her, not a Church that has been whimpered into submission by the political dogma of the day.

The current leaders within the churches of this country appear to have already resolved the issue of Israel’s rights that are ordained by God to now be left up to the geopolitical hacks of this world. However no matter what our government or the United Nations does the supernatural power to resolve any conflicts against Israel lies within her God-given rights, and the rights of those who have been grafted into a spiritual commonwealth. It is a shame that the latest narrative regarding Israel’s rights isn’t being carried by the Church, but by those who only have a political prowess to obtain.
