From PC to D.E.I. and beyond, How Churches Fail to Detour Socialism and Other Deviant Manners – Part Five

Christianity is not about exalting denominations, religious groups, or ministerial dynamics above the intent and concern of the Father; it is about a believer having a Christ-like manner of character, thinking that, if in us, it comes into manifestation through fellowship with the Holy Spirit and His anointing.

He reveals things that are the intent and concern in the Father’s heart, designed to help develop the character of God in us so that our new nature reveals we have the Father’s concern and interests. Spiritual matters revealed by the Holy Spirit are a result of the indwelling presence among the whole body of Christ, showing the mind of God to the believer through the truth in the Word. Thus, we’re to have a common understanding of the Father and His interest and concern as called out in scripture, as we know or things known.

1 John 2:20 (NKJV) But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.

This anointing is not for ministerial activities only, but for all knowledge and understanding of spiritual matters by everyone who is in Christ. Although they can be used in ministry to fulfill His will, everything has been to sow into our minds and hearts the truth about who we are as children of God for the maturity of the body of Christ in faith.

1 John 2:27 (NKJV) But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.

So, if believers manifest in their lives in a manner not as they see fit, but as the Father requires by the Spirit, maturity is revealed as knowing how to live as His child, mindful of what He’s concerned about; this is what is called being Christ-like.

1 Cor 2:16 (AMP) For who has known or understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart.

A roadblock to our being Christ-like has always been, and remains today, an unwillingness to renew our minds with the word of God, guided by the Holy Spirit. There is no maturing in one’s nature if one continues in ignorance of all things concerning spiritual matters.

Prov 23:7 (GW) As he calculates the cost to himself, this is what he does: Prov 23:7 (BBE) For as the thoughts of his heart are, so is he: Prov 23:7 (AMP) For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. Prov 23:7 (ASV) For as he thinketh within himself, so is he:

As you can see, it makes no difference how we translate it; the mind must be renewed from carnal, fleshly thinking to spiritual thinking. I met with a brother in Christ not long ago, and as we discussed several matters concerning the state of the body of Christ today, the Lord suddenly revealed something to me.

He said: Maturity in the things of the Spirit is not about a mindset that perceives heaven, angels, supernatural manifestations, or spiritual gifts, nor a pious position; it is to know the Father’s intent and concern regarding all things, both spiritual and natural. Clearly, His intent concerns us; if not, then what is the earth or the Spirit of God for? Were you not created to inhabit one while inhabited by the other? He said that maturity is the ability to spiritually perceive those things that the Father is thinking about concerning us.

We must speak the word of God and be exact in manner as Him so that the power to manifest authority that is already present occurs. Only by the Holy Spirit’s help can your spirit reveal the character traits of God the Father and God the Son, equal to the Word by faith.

All Right! It is time for a revelation to come to us, so Lord, I pray that all may have a clear and sober mind and heart, as the Holy Spirit anoints what’s about to be read, so that all may know the truth about who they are!

Isa 55:10-11 (AMP) For as the rain and snow come down from the heavens, and return not there again, but water the earth and make it bring forth and sprout, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, 11 So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

The word translated goes forth in the previous text is (yasa), meaning a movement away from some point. This word is typically used to express “coming forth,” where the observer is outside the original point of its departure. In other words, God’s word still goes forth over all the earth when we speak by the character of God spiritually formed in us. Therefore, when we as mature offspring speak the word of God in a Christ-like manner, it manifests from its point of origin, having the same authority and power as its original speaker, continuing to produce the intent and concern in His heart.

DID YOU GET THAT?

If not, let us continue by examining another truth revealed to us from Scripture, designed to form Christ-like behavior in us.

1 Pet 4:11 (AMP) Whoever speaks, [let him do it as one who utters] oracles of God;

In Greek, the word oracles (logion) means “a word, narrative, or statement,” which denotes a divine response or utterance, revealing to us that having a Christ-like manner working in us is aligned with the unity of the Holy Spirit as Godly offspring who speaks out of a divine nature. In other words, you, a child of God afforded to you through the Lord Jesus Christ, are uttering the word as Divine Agents simply because you are a legally adopted offspring of God.

Rom 8:14-17  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Can you imagine the body of Christ being of a divine nature, so that when we speak the word of God, it has the power contained in its authority to change the world? Wow! The character traits of the Holy Spirit are the same as those of the Father and the Son, all in unity by a nature governed by principles founded on righteousness. Churches and all parts therein must reveal the same character traits as individual offspring born of the same word of truth as Christ the Messiah.

2 Pet 1:4 (NKJV) by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

So, to wrap up this five-part blog, believers must demonstrate in a Christ-like manner those character traits that appear through the power of God’s Word, affirming that their unity in fellowship is not only to the world but also toward one another, accepting the Holy Spirit’s power at work in each of them. This is not today’s intent and concern in ministry, as everyone is diligently fulfilling a status of dynamic social experience, all to be seen as sufficient in spiritual matters, yet unable to manifest a Christ-like stature to the world.

The truth is, whether it be political correctness, diversity, equity, and/or inclusivity, until churches and the pulpits that operate in them mature in a manner that’s Christ-like, those being fed by them will not be Christ-like. The status quo of appeasement, over-the-top dynamics, and lack of fundamental truths from scripture ministry will never bring forth a Christ-like manner among those in the body of Christ.

A Word of Knowledge: The days of emotional dogma and humanist reform are coming to an end shortly, and I will move and be swift in conforming those who are willing to comply with the truth as it has always been out of My mouth. And My Church as a body of faith will be unified to appear as I am, full of power and authority, as My Spirit goes before them.
