So … wait, what?
As the days get closer to the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ the evildoers of our time rise to new levels almost every day with not only pushing sexuality over the brink of perversity but also making sure it includes the innocent. I remember when pedophilia was a term used to describe the nastiness of a person who would sexually abuse a child for their own evil pleasures. But in today’s world of boundless sexual activity, it appears to mean nothing more than here’s an opportunity not to be missed.
When society deems it is OK to sexually pervert at a level focused on the youth of its foundation it has become just as God says in the early chapters of the bible. Genesis 6:5-7 5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
If we were to consider how He looked upon this it might be that we will also repent of being a part of humanity, not willing to address our evils. This is not some new manner of perversity that just came along yesterday it is an evil disparaging of thinking that is torn from any truth of human morals. It has in the past and is today still provocateur by those who see sexual ill-morals as just another manner of life and in no way feel humbled by the evil it portrays. Those who see children as a sexual opportunity are sick in spirit and soul as they cannot do anything but surrender to the lust of their flesh.
One thing that can be rendered from this is that many in the Church won’t take a position on it simply because they have supported an organization that over the centuries has allowed such evil to become a stable activity among its own clergy. This makes taking a stance against something you have condoned to appear hypocritical to the masses so an expectation of spiritual war against this isn’t likely to happen anytime soon. Much of the evils surrounding us today are the results of inactivity by those who see a sedentary manner of spiritual relevance as better than one fighting against what isn’t seen.
The most damaging aspect of this issue is that we have parents who see no harm no foul in letting their children participate in such expose since today it’s all about them following the latest trends even if they are evil. And since we have in our society a willingness to destroy ourselves also seen in the latest trending of hate-driven disregard for life. There is an evil that is hereby our own doing as we have for decades sat back and allowed the media and all its venues to promote dialogue that constantly is designed to barrage us on a daily basis with lies and deception about our own manner of civility needing to be that of hate and despair.
While I hold the Church, of whom I am a part of, responsible for the lack of an influence of spiritual warfare it is to be engaged in, I hold myself and all of humanity responsible for allowing such evils to become norms within our unity of creation. If we won’t engage in ensuring that some control is exerted among us who will? God is not going to expel or destroy evils that we willingly hold to by acceptance of whatever those who render dialogue to normalize their offer. And though He will in the end bring all who reign against Him by evil mannerisms to a place of judgment, no one can say I didn’t know. If you are truly a Christian then long before you would ever have any type of opportunity to see such evils you should have by your prayer and intercession fought against it.
I know you’re saying will such activity prevent evil from occurring? Not all of it, but many of the avenues that promote evils would be having to fight against God and His angels as a result of your giving Him authority to intervene. Like it or not evil is not going away until the devil is brought to the place of confinement seen in the last book of the bible. Revelation 20:1-3 1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
So, will you say evil?
