There are many areas where an evil tendency can appear to be present in a church, but one, in particular, is front and center in today’s works of ministry. In a recent article containing the announcement of a split-up of the Methodist Denomination, it is reported that it’s occurring as a result of an ongoing internal battle over whether or not homosexuals should be fulfilling roles of leadership within the organization. Most of this centers on statements made by those who currently see God, who is love, as dispondent over His word.
It doesn’t matter if it’s sin; He still loves you, and that’s all there is to it. That’s the simplicity of this narrative; it is not so true. If God hates sin, He doesn’t love it, and He never will, but that hasn’t deterred the aspirations of those who see homosexual lifestyles as the higher order of sexual unions. This is the sexual dark side of spiritual ignorance, but it isn’t anything new; it’s been in the church from its early days and has been promoted by clergy and lay alike. But knowledge and understanding of how it enters churches and allows evil to operate in and around them are not discerned, even by those in leadership.
Pro 8:13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate. The issue of homosexual exaltation in the church is a designed plan of the enemy, but it wouldn’t be here if leadership had been attuned to the working of the Spirit of God. As no order of sin will ever have authority over the truth contained within scripture, however, take away the truth, and you can dribble any ole lie you want.
If you add to this the fact that, for centuries, leadership has been centered on a sense of control that prospers on religious ideals, then a path for gullible congregants is already set. And many will accept the lies because they are emotionally fixated on the statement that love is the abounding authority here. But every godless thing will come to an end, as God has not changed His position on sin.
2 Pet 3:9-11 God isn’t late with his promise as some measure lateness. He is restraining himself on account of you, holding back the End because he doesn’t want anyone lost. He’s giving everyone space and time to change. 10 But when the Day of God’s Judgment does come, it will be unannounced, like a thief. The sky will collapse with a thunderous bang, everything disintegrating in a huge conflagration, earth and all its works exposed to the scrutiny of Judgment. 11 Since everything here today might well be gone tomorrow, do you see how essential it is to live a holy life?
God does judge sin, and the only remission of it and repentance from it brings a righteous deliverance through Jesus Christ. 2 Pet 2:6-9 God decreed destruction for the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. A mound of ashes was all that was left—grim warning to anyone bent on an ungodly life. Sexual perversity is a by-product of spiritual ignorance, as it can hide the truth that reveals its evil intent. This is exactly what’s going on here: as leadership sees acceptance of perversity as just a lifestyle and not sin, they are blind to the evils God sees within it.
7 But that good man Lot, driven nearly out of his mind by the sexual filth and perversity, was rescued. 8 Surrounded by moral rot day after day after day, that righteous man was in constant torment. 9 So God knows how to rescue the godly from evil trials. And he knows how to hold the feet of the wicked to the fire until Judgment Day. Just as Lot, who was under the torment of the soul because of the severity of the sexual perversion going on. We have congregants today under the torment of the soul as a result of this sexual perversity brought by the spiritual ignorance of their leadership.
While we can respect the choices people make about their lives, even choosing to live a homosexual lifestyle, acceptance of it as normal among God’s creation or ratified by ecumenical authority is out of context to the truth. We also have those tormented as they try to understand abortion, which is an evil-hearted gesture of choice taken up by pulpits who now lean to the wicked mannerism of death by premeditated murder disguised as a form of healthcare. There is nothing, and I repeat nothing in the annals of scripture to justify taking away an individual life conceived by a process God himself has ordained.
The life of every individual is the spirit, and at conception, a new life begins, and a soul is formed, set to be exactly who that unborn infant will become as part of God’s creation. Anyone who supports abortion is clearly void of this truth, or they wickedly deny how we’re created in the spiritual element of it all. As all males and females are born a three-part being, just as God has illustrated in His word. 1 Thess 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Scripture states that if the spirit of a person leaves the body, it will not continue to live, as the spirit is the very essence of life within it. And wherever the spirit goes, so does the soul, which is the consciousness, intellect, emotions, and feelings. Your spirit is the real you, and you have a soul and live in a body. James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. In the case of abortion, the body is being torn apart and removed, taking away the place of habitation for the spirit and soul.
There is a difference between these two issues, homosexuality and abortion; one deals with dead spirits (those still without God), and the other deals with a spirit whose body has been destroyed. And while the first may be a prominent issue in some Churches the other is a paramount issue in heaven. And any truth pertaining to abortion within scripture is far and away not a relevant issue in many churches; rather, it is treated as a taboo subject in those who support it and seen only as a mention of it being wrong in many others.
Ministries and churches that support this act of murder are acting spiritually stupid and under a guise of love born from a distorted truth. The ignorance of thought in the minds of those who see a fetus as just a mass of cell tissue fails in the fact that they can see life in the same manner as cell tissues when talking about animals and their right to life. As they fight to preserve a right to life for a dog or cat but defy the right for a human fetus to live, this is wicked and perverse thinking promoted by an evil spirit among society.
A question one should ask is how such ignorance runs its course through the Church, since it’s supposed to be the most right-minded, or should I say Christ-minded, organization on earth? The answer may be too easy to accept! As it’s all in the manner of religious taboos that have operated within churches since their early days. As the Church in the second and third centuries took up Platonist allegories and evil paganisms rooted in plagiarized philosophies. They created voids of literal truth and laid the foundation for a pledge of ignorance among its congregants, one that has been promoted and favored for centuries.
God doesn’t speak for the purpose of promoting ignorance among His children. He speaks truth formed by His righteousness. Prov 8:8-10 (AMP) All the words of my mouth are righteous (upright and in right standing with God); there is nothing contrary to truth or crooked in them. 9They are all plain to him who understands [and opens his heart], and right to those who find knowledge [and live by it]. 10Receive my instruction in preference to [striving for] silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold,
While humanity is plagued by its own weaknesses of mind and heart, God continues to promote truth today. Those who seek praise from others as they fill positions of authority and power are selfishly led about by so many evils around them that they vehemently deny that evil spirits exist.
