God does not count on us to be perfect in living a righteous life in Christ but He wants us to show the glory of the Lord by the word of truth that comes from the Holy Spirit, which images His righteousness and draws people to Him. The more our witness aligns with His truth, the more Christ is revealed, but the more mediocrity appears, the more ignorance abounds, and Christ nor the Father will be seen.
This conflicts with today’s dynamic ministries because they’re designed to draw people in using worldly preambles of sight and sound. When you, by the Holy Spirit, speak the word of God, the truth, you reveal an inner witness He uses to draw others to it as they by His anointing see themselves in need of a right standing with God. John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
Mark 16:20 And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Jesus never fails to reveal His righteous character or His Father’s in you, and in doing so, the Spirit of God draws people to Christ by the good work God created you to do. Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God ordained that we should walk in them.
Any judgment of sin is not based on your right standing but on their error amid God’s righteousness. Scripture is filled with truths about everything ordained and promised for humanity during this Church age event, and our part in this is written in and among all of it for His glory. Nothing is said about His words being unable to do as spoken in every aspect, proving God is faithful to fulfill what He says by His power within them.
The two most important elements of you becoming who God says you are by the Holy Spirit and the Word, which transform anyone into who Christ is, are your faith and His truth. Mediocrity and the faith it has corrupted is not a result of anything the Holy Spirit has or has not done by the word of God but is a choice made by a believer to resist the truth while hiding under the cover of grace.
Believers whose faith is influenced by the spirit of mediocrity represent pulpits that remove the conscious knowing of who one is as an offspring of God. Even if one is responsible for personal growth and maturity, which requires aligning with those truths. Your faith and no one else’s sustains your relationship with the Father through Christ, so whether you commune with the Holy Spirit or not, He is vital to a relationship that’s by Agape, the ultimate act of righteous living.
Attending church is crucial to your covenant with the Father in Christ. It is to be a place of spiritual nurturing, and you must be plugged into it by the Holy Spirit so that the truths He reveals from its pulpit transform you into who He says you are. However, not every word from pulpits or ministers will be a revelation of truth, but every revelation of truth will transform your faith.
Many of today’s believers are doing nothing according to the Holy Spirit, as written in scripture, which means doubt exists regarding the power within to do what He says: This is a state of mediocrity. The new faith that now abides in the congregants of churches. Such a level of faith places them in a spiritual state of appearing as neither hot nor cold. Rev 3:15-16 I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I would that you were cold or hot. 16 So because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
It’s your faith acting upon the truth needed to avoid it becoming mediocre. I know what I’m saying seems not to be appearing but ask yourself why so many accept the status quo of evil today. Life without mediocrity is as simple as having faith in the one who brought salvation to you, Jesus, the Son of God. But it requires avoiding catering to the world, as it only diminishes your faith.
This truth applies to both lay and minister alike since it is not in the annals of scripture for anyone to suffer ignorance or abuse for the sake of another’s lack of faith. For that reason alone, this blog is written so that the Holy Spirit can reveal your enemy, the devil, is out to discourage and destroy your faith if possible.
Yet the truth, by the power of God’s word, is enough to sustain one’s faith to overcome all evils supernaturally. The dynamics within today’s churches lend to the worldly trends of emotional stature and play on the anxiety of those in attendance, not the truth from scripture for a transformed faith to abound within them.
Scriptures written in the book of Revelation must be understood by all who have faith to receive the truth within, so hold on to it and withstand the days of iniquity both now and ahead of His return. Rev 1:3-6 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
The words of His prophetic stature are revealed to you for you to receive them as truth as the Holy Spirit reveals, so what is said in the following verses is the culmination of God’s intent and concern abiding in your heart if your faith is without mediocrity.
4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne; 5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, 6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
Notice, He says, hath made us Kings and Priests unto Jesus and the Father. Jesus is the king of kings, Lord of Lords, and intercessor upon the throne. I attended a meeting once, and the minister said the Holy Spirit reminded him of something concerning this scripture: Kings rule and Priests intercede. Jesus is our king and intercessor before the Father. Believers with faith built on mediocrity cannot do such things by the Spirit of God.
I know this will get me into trouble with those who see anyone not having a called ministry as non-relevant to scriptural truths. But I did not say it; the Holy Spirit did in the verses Paul writes to the church in Ephesus. Every believer is to be in a measure of faith that the Holy Spirit can work in and through them to reveal Christ, who reveals the Father. (reconciliation)
Eph 2:1-22 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
He outlines the definition of the world and the faith that aligns with it by reminding them of who they were before they believed in Christ. And defines heavenly union as the position at the Father’s right hand in Christ. 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
If you aren’t shouting, you should be since you, a child of the Most-High God, have been placed in a heavenly position within His spiritual hierarchy to work ministerial signs, wonders, and miracles through your faith and supernatural efforts. This shows the power and authority for spiritual activity among God’s creation is within you so that an image of your heavenly Father occurs.
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
If you believe, He made you righteous in Christ Jesus to show the world you are His through Christ’s sacrifice. Then make sure you understand this, it did not come about as a last-minute effort when Israel failed to believe in Jesus as the Messiah. 11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; 12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
It came about because Jesus’s blood removed the partition of the law of the commandments, dividing us (Gentiles) from the covenant of His promise and joining all together in a righteous statute. 13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. 14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; 15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
Look closely at the following verses, which reveal that the body of Christ is not to be divided by any laws or commandments of man but is to be united – Jews and Gentiles – to preach peace to all and have access to the Father by the Holy Spirit as His righteous offspring. 16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: 17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. 18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. 19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
If you believe in Christ, you by the Holy Spirit are being built into something God desires to inhabit, such as His (Holy Temple). 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; 21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: 22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
Life with mediocrity abides in the middle of the road by faith in ignorance of the truth, which provides a position of worldly stature that does not fulfill a life as one righteous before God. The truths to reveal mediocrity are in scripture so that you can live without it by faith, and love, and therefore, fulfill your heavenly Father’s will as He decreed in Jesus Christ, and the Spirit of God will have His place in you. AMEN.
