Instead of Worldly Dynamics, We Need A Holy Occupation

Listen, the current level of aggravation and frustration among the body of Christ over the mannerisms present in the Church by leadership reveals that what is being done is out of context to one’s spirit under the influence of the Holy Spirit. So do not think for a moment that Jesus was not respectful of what He was doing here; he relied extensively upon the Holy Spirit and His daily prayer and communion with the Father to fulfill His will. And as such, our spiritual well-being as God’s family depends on us, His spiritual offspring’s health and maturity, to reveal His very nature and essence.

When we live spiritually healthy, we live mentally and emotionally healthy, too, and our bodies will reap the promise of divine health here and now. Rom 8:9-19 (NKJV) But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. It is evident by the word of God that there is to be a habitation of the Holy Spirit present in us, and that by this habitation, we will reveal we belong to God. 10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. Christ is alive in us, and righteousness is our new manner of life, even though our physical body is dying.

The Holy Spirit who raised Christ from the dead inhabits believers; therefore, our physical body will be made alive with vitality, strength, and agility, as long as we, the spirit, are occupying it. 11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. 12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors–not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. 13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

No longer are we indebted to live our lives according to the dictates of the flesh, as in doing so, we are just living unto death, both physically and spiritually. But suppose we live indebted to do according to the Holy Spirit who inhabits us. In that case, we will put to death all practical living by the flesh and live as an eternally alive soul, even while occupying a fleshly body. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 15 For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” We, who are the sons and daughters of God, are led to live our lives according to the Holy Spirit who inhabits us, not to bind us as slaves to God’s ways, but to bring us to live as God’s spiritual children.

No one needs to doubt the truth of all this because the Holy Spirit will bear witness that one is truly a son or daughter of God. 16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs–heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. So, since we are to reveal ourselves as His child, we will suffer as Christ suffered for living a life in this world according to our true heritage.

Can you see that the word of truth has something to offer regarding who those in Christ are? All believers have the same inheritance in Christ, the anointed one. He was glorified or exalted by His living a life in the flesh according to the Spirit. So, according to God, His children are glorified and elevated in living life by the Holy Spirit. 18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us, We must be willing to suffer for the Spirit of God to have liberty in us to do the will of the Father, because the results of such suffering cannot compare to the glory revealed by us in this world.

Anyone living by way of the world because they choose to live life differently will not suffer the same persecution and ridicule the Children of God suffer in the Spirit. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. According to the Spirit of God, the creation waits for the revealing of those who willingly live, able to manifest His glory through salvation in Jesus Christ. Jesus had persecution and ridicule for His way of life as a Son of Man living according to the Spirit, persecuted as a procreated man, spirit, soul, and body, yet lived without being indebted to the flesh, or should I say, practiced the ways of the flesh.

Rather, He revealed that the ways of the Spirit of God are higher than ours, revealing that the way of this world and the thinking afforded to it are not as God would do. Isa 55:8-9 (NKJV) “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD. 9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts. His ways and thinking are above or from a higher position for a spiritual purpose made known by revealed knowledge (revelation).

Math 11:27-30 (AMP) All things have been entrusted and delivered to Me by My Father; and no one fully knows and accurately understands the Son except the Father, and no one fully knows and accurately understands the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son deliberately wills to make Him known. None of us has full spiritual knowledge and understanding of Jesus, only the Father. None of us have full spiritual knowledge and understanding of the Father, but Jesus, unless He, Jesus, willingly reveals Him.

28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.] 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls. 30 For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good—not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne. To learn who Jesus is is not about some ministerial means; He will reveal something that requires a spiritual position to perceive the purpose of it.

As He says, take my yoke, His way of living by the Spirit of God, and learn of Him, and they will have peace of souls. His yoke or way of living by the Spirit of God is wholesome, practical, and provides comfort in the grace and pleasing to the Father, all of it done at a spiritual level, not by religious customs or traditions. Why did Jesus speak these words to His disciples and those present? Because the leaders of that generation were abiding in religiously hard-hearted ways. They promoted a sharp, self-righteous manner and applied religious burdens upon God’s chosen people, Israel, driving them away from God and His love for them.

He was also assuring them that He could reveal their true Father to them by receiving Him as the Son of God; in doing so, they would find comfort for their souls. It is crucial for us who declare the praises of God and exalt Jesus the Son of righteousness to understand something, in that whether we are a Jew or a Gentile, it is by faith that we have chosen to believe in Him. So we must have the Holy Spirit to have the knowledge and understanding of just who Christ and our heavenly Father are. It is essential to our spiritual well-being that God declares for us as His sons and daughters.

God’s children are confirmed by the presence of the Holy Spirit, so in seeing ourselves by faith as His sons and daughters as part of His spiritual family, He positions and anoints us to know all truth. Therefore, the Holy Spirit takes this responsibility seriously since the spiritual well-being of all determines the wellbeing of the Church body, the family of God. 1 John 2:20-27 (AMP) But you have been anointed by [you hold a sacred appointment from, you have been given an unction from] the Holy One, and you all know [the Truth] or you know all things.

The anointing John is revealing above is present as a result of the Holy Spirit’s presence in us, which abides forever in each of us. He is the one showing truth from the word of God. No one else can deliver it to us; even those who minister in pulpits are getting the truth from Him, not any dribble coming from self-defined ecclesiastical delegates. 21 I write to you not because you are ignorant and do not perceive and know the Truth, but because you do perceive and know it, and [know positively] that nothing false (no deception, no lie) is of the Truth. Believers should not be ignorant of the truth God has determined to be revealed to them, as the Holy Spirit is present to raise them to have a perception of it, so they know what is untrue regarding God.

22 Who is [such a] liar as he who denies that Jesus is the Christ (the Messiah)? He is the antichrist (the antagonist of Christ), who [habitually] denies and refuses to acknowledge the Father and the Son. 23 No one who [habitually] denies (disowns) the Son even has the Father. Whoever confesses (acknowledges and has) the Son has the Father also. Only those who have the spirit of antichrist deny that Christ, the Messiah, is Jesus the Son of God. But whoever confesses and acknowledges Jesus as the Son of God has the Father as their own. Own what? Spiritual Father.

24 As for you, keep in your hearts what you have heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the first dwells and remains in you, then you will dwell in the Son and in the Father [always]. John says, hang on to the truth revealed at the beginning of our faith in Christ, and we will always have a place presented for us of the Son and the Father. 25 And this is what He Himself has promised us—the life, the eternal [life]. God promised that we who have chosen to accept the truth of His word as revealed by the Spirit of God have eternal life. 26 I write this to you with reference to those who would deceive you [seduce and lead you astray].

As explained, some would-be deceivers of truth cause others to stray from it. Unfortunately, many in the body of Christ have no conception of such things, mainly because they are presently ignorant of any truth revealing it and accept the status quo as ministered from pulpits. 27 But as for you, the anointing (the sacred appointment, the unction) which you received from Him abides [permanently] in you; [so] then you have no need that anyone should instruct you. But just as His anointing teaches you concerning everything and is true and is no falsehood, so you must abide in (live in, never depart from) Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him], just as [His anointing] has taught you [to do].

This previous verse reveals that you and I have an anointing present by the Holy Spirit’s occupation, and that by such an anointing, we have no need for anyone else to instruct us. This does not mean we are not to listen to or receive from those He gifts to teach and minister to us, but in doing so, His anointing will ensure that we will know any truth revealed in them. Therefore, by the Holy Spirit’s anointing, the truth can be displayed in anything, as He not only abides in us, but we must abide in Him, or in a sense, be rooted in this anointing.

Scripture concerning Israel shows us how a lack of knowledge can lead to tribulations coming from the Father. Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I also will forget thy children. Several things are revealed here, but first, note that knowledge is the subject. And in the below scripture, we can see that whatever wisdom is said by God is right, and nothing is contrary to the truth. Such things are revealed through knowledge and understanding.

Prov 8:8-10 (AMP) All the words of my mouth are righteous (upright and in right standing with God); there is nothing contrary to truth or crooked in them. 9 They are all plain to him who understands [and opens his heart], and right to those who find knowledge [and live by it]. All of it is made plain to anyone who opens their heart to having such knowledge revealed, emphasizing that wisdom’s instruction is more valuable than gold and preferred over silver and knowledge. 10 Receive my instruction in preference to [striving for] silver, and knowledge rather than choice gold,

Now, keep your focus as we go through this; here it is revealed that knowledge has a value above wisdom and understanding. Why? Because knowledge brings forth the facts or revealed truths that justify such knowledge to the extent that we can, by wisdom, operate faith in it, understanding is having conceived the purpose or limits and applications of such knowledge. Finally, wisdom is for applying it for the excellent work as God has purposed. Prov 20:15 (AMP) There is gold, and a multitude of pearls, but the lips of knowledge are a vase of preciousness [the most precious of all].

All knowledge in scripture is revealed as more important than understanding, and it is expounded on as the most precious of all valuable things, even gold and precious jewels. Thus, the priesthood for which the tribe of Levi was held responsible for revealing truth as established by the Spirit of God could not be fulfilled as God had purposed through them or their offspring. The fact that fearful believers trend on the latest news and narratives of the day reveals that the truth shown above is not rooted in the hearts and minds of Christ’s body.

The pulpits of today’s churches will be under the chastisement of the Spirit of God, not for what they speak but for what they do not speak, the truth as He presents it. Everything here is true, and either has or will happen as written, since no one can deter the power of the word and the Spirit. Whatever is to be judged will be judged as the days of the Church Age come to an end.
