When The Truth Is Upside Down, It’s Not From God – Part One.

Here we are, people, living in a time when everything appears upside down, at least in the context of issues among humanity. How many of you thought that corruption on every level would be an active part of life today! I don’t mean on your part but on the part of educators, governments, and, yes, churches. Why do I cast churches among these corrupt venues?

The Church’s existence depends on the truth, not formed by our humanity but by the God who created it. You see, we are created in a way that requires us to know what is and is not concerning ourselves individually and corporately. No one is born fully knowing everything, nor will they ever know it throughout their existence here. But God has given us the ability to know not just anything pertaining to natural issues but the truth about us spiritually.

Whether you believe that the scriptures within the Bible are literally God’s word or not does not determine whether such truth exists. So, put aside any religious doubt about its presence and accept the fact that if there is no truth, then you and I are doomed from the beginning of our lives.

God’s amazing love for His creation of humanity was long before we came about, showing He cares for us. Thus, the truths He required the Spirit of God to pen within the scriptures by those obedient to do so are evidence of such love. The problem today is that that truth is almost never put forth, or at least presented as the truth, by those who stand in the places of esteemed headship among humanity and the Church.

Instead, many pulpits use myriads of humanistic terminologies delved out as the truth. If you listen attentively, you will hear pulpits use terms such as diversity, inclusivity, and equality, which are not defined but blended within a message based on scripture but not founded on the truth of what God said. This turns the truth upside down and leaves a void they purposely fill with societal terminology.

Hearing a message about you coming back to God and the Lord has been waiting on you to do so because He wants you connected to others who will help you get through the issues you face is a message containing truth. However, if it is to focus you toward building unity for the sake of what others can do, it lands you in the midst of relying upon humanistic well-being.

The truth from scripture tells you that your relationship with God through Jesus Christ, His Son, places you in a position of righteous stature that requires Him to help you apart from anything anyone else can do. That doesn’t mean He won’t use someone else to do it, but having faith that comes from knowing the real truth tells you it is Him working to fulfill it, and no humanist effort needs to be depended upon.

The corruption mentioned earlier concerning churches has recently risen to the degree that many believers’ faith today is mediocre. This means what many hold by faith to be true is built upon a quagmire of untruths and covertly divulged narratives designed to esteem humanity’s preambles rather than lay the foundation of scriptural truth for one’s spiritual transformation.

Just so you know, it’s not for me to tell you what to believe. That is actually the Holy Spirit’s job. As He is the only one who reveals this truth. John 16:12  I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. 13  However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth. For He shall not speak of Himself, but whatever He hears, He shall speak. And He will announce to you things to come. 14  He will glorify Me, for He will receive of Mine and will announce it to you. 15  All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and will announce it to you.

Jesus told His disciples that when the Holy Spirit comes, He will guide them and us into all truths. Whatever Christ has received will be revealed to us by the Holy Spirit. The real corruption of the Church is removing belief in the Holy Spirit as the one who reveals any truths a believer is to know. How is this done? By not teaching or exalting scripture as He reveals it. Then, you act as if the only truth to be known is the one you deliver with humanist ideology.

In case you don’t know, humanism is the justification, supported by scientific and/or historical evidence, that humans can be personally effective in the well-being of society and cultures. It is reminiscent of the philosophy that reasoning and science are the pursuit of knowledge. Therefore, exalting humanity’s own ability, whether grouped or independent, is not a truth God says is acceptable for a believer’s faith since it is to be in His ability to do what no one in the whole of humanity can.

Exalting humanity above its creator has always been a problem. There are always those who see themselves as having greater knowledge, thus knowing what’s better for themselves and, unfortunately, everyone else. This is the platform of liberalism where thinking exists that terminates God and His ability for one’s perverted mannerisms that promote the idea I know better than He does.

This liberal idealism is today front and center in churches that have adopted new-aged expressionism, with huge LED screens, torrid backlighting, over-the-top decibel levels, and a dark ambiance that the Spirit of God finds difficult to inhabit. I know you’ve been told this is all by the Holy Spirit. But I challenge you as a believer to look into the scriptures, both in the New and Old Testament, that are the structured foundations of the truths God is talking about and see if you find, with the help of the Holy Spirit, a definition of what is actually going on.
