This is an excerpt from my latest book titled – What From Hell Is Going On In The Church – out of a chapter called “Paranormal Demise ” and the reason I’m posting it here is that many church participants are not really convinced that there is a lull in the activity of the Spirit of God within the churches of today. They also argue whether or not His activity can be deemed as paranormal in its working.
So let’s review what we do know about paranormal activity. In the past, such activity is typically described as of or pertaining to events or happenings occurring without a clear scientific explanation. Often these are explained as mere clairvoyance or maybe extrasensory perception. But basically, it refers to some kind of activity that cannot be naturally explained as to the source or maybe even its purpose. This pretty much fits what goes on when supernatural activity by the Holy Spirit occurs on the earth. And the fact that He has historically been active both in the Church and on earth carries the weight for any discussion of why not now.
So many things are occurring today in the churches that seem to be uncharacteristic in a manner to how Christ would do. I believe it is directly linked to the lack of supernatural workings that in the past was clearly evident. In revealing there is a lack of spiritual discernment presently going on right now by many who occupy pulpits and pews. 1 Cor 2:14-15 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. This lack of discernment leads to gross spiritual ignorance of the evil present in the earth and now in the Church allowing the ways of the enemy to go unseen. 15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
Such a lack of discernment is not clarion of just the actions of those in the pulpits, it is also of those whom God declares as His own offspring. As there is this matter of church congregants being discerning of truth, and knowing how any discourse of His spiritual manifestations might occur today. While a demise of supernatural activity is taking place within the Church, there is an occurrence of demonic activity occurring upon the earth at a rate far exceeding anything we have ever observed.
As whole nations and regions are being immersed into a dark and hideous spiritual quagmire called Islam. A religion that holds hostage the minds and hearts of those who over the centuries have been deceived to believe there is some sort of Godly reward and eternal sanctuary waiting for those who do evil. This has been going on ever since the time of Isaac and Ishmael but has never been quite to the degree it is today. And yet we have churches that are ignorant and unaware of these evil spiritual forces that are at work here simply because they are too busy pandering to secularists who promote cultural promiscuity.
The Church is here because it is to be the most spiritually powerful entity present on the earth, in a supernatural sense. But it is plagued with ignorance and stupidity not because of anything that emanates from heaven by the Spirit of God, but by the evil that emanates from pulpits that are filled with those who are ignorant to what it even looks like. Gen 2:8-9 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. 9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Though Adam was commanded not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, it did not mean that God had no intention of its presence being revealed.
The fact is over two-thirds of scripture contained in 66 books has been dedicated by the Spirit of God to revealing the enemy and his evil mannerisms. So one’s ignorance of such things presents an opportunity for him to operate just as he did in the beginning by using covert lies, deceitfulness, and diversely creative mannerisms contrary to anything that would ever come from God’s throne. This is clearly being revealed in our present political atmosphere where evil is being presented as good and anything good is by propaganda presented as bad.
Today many congregations sit in ignorance each week oblivious to whether or not anything emanating from the leadership is truly good or Godly or possibly even evil. I know that is offensive but I am not after any pulpits of the churches in the body of Christ that are being obedient to the presence of the Spirit of God or even those who choose to stupidly operate in this ignorance. I am out to reveal the one who is behind all of this, the one who is the enemy of us all, the devil, Lucifer, or Satan, whatever you want to call him. He is the one who truly brings the very presence of hell into the Church. But for some reason, there appears to be little or no resistance to what he is doing, and very few are calling him out and challenging him.
Maybe all of this is happening simply because many simply do not recognize his handy work. 1 Peter 5:8-11 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 11 To him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
Those who have been supernaturally delivered from the working of sin in their lives have been so so that they can take up a vigilant stance by faith against the enemy’s evil afflictions. And they are to be sober-minded or without any influence that is contrary to a new life in Christ Jesus while doing so. So the very element that is required for anyone to do what He says they are to do only comes from hearing the truth as it is revealed by the Spirit of God. However, this truth is being purposely diverted by the enemy through evil narratives that are promoting a false spiritual presence in things such as cultural posturing, political correctness, performance-driven entertainment, and worst of all generational division.
None of this is in any way going to be supported or endorsed by God. Isa 63:15-17 (MSG) Look down from heaven, look at us! Look out the window of your holy and magnificent house! Whatever happened to your passion, your famous mighty acts, Your heartfelt pity, your compassion? Why are you holding back? 16 You are our Father. Abraham and Israel are long dead. They wouldn’t know us from Adam. But you’re our living Father, our Redeemer, famous from eternity! 17 Why, GOD, did you make us wander from your ways? Why did you make us cold and stubborn so that we no longer worshiped you in awe? Turn back for the sake of your servants. You own us! We belong to you! These scriptures make it clear we are not our own nor do we possess each other. We have been bought with the price of the very life of Jesus Christ our Lord and savior. And the Father has not redeemed us just so we can go back into the very evil mannerisms He delivered us out of.
One typically thinks of evil as the really bad stuff that happens among creation, like murders, or cutting off someone’s head, or mutilating another person’s body. But evil can also be something very subtle and often appear the same as something good or even Godly. 2 Cor 11:14-15 (AMP) And it is no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light; 15 So it is not surprising if his servants also masquerade as ministers of righteousness. [But] their end will correspond with their deeds. There is no activity of the Spirit of God that will ever promote us to do evil. His presence here is to teach us what it looks like and how the enemy uses it to bring destruction upon God’s creation. The biggest work of evil that occurs on earth happens within the churches when a pulpit willingly gives place to evil narratives to promote appeasement to sinful mannerisms rather than the activity of the Spirit of God.
