If The Church Won’t Stand With Christ Who Will?

The character of Christ is to be represented by all who call Him Lord, so why are so many not seen as Christ? The answer should shock you, but somehow I doubt it really will. As Christians, we are finding ourselves being pressed to accept the liberal mannerisms of the media, politics, educational institutions, and all the ills of society in general. But that is not enough, we also must adhere to the viral outcry of the ignorant and immoral who say we are not acceptable in their sight. So, I ask, is all this attention due to our so-called Christian ways of faith or to something else?

Reagan Escude, unlike many Christians today, is willing to take a stand and fight against the evils of the day. Her testimony isn’t outside the norm of the persecutions now taking place in and outside of the Church. And as the enemy continues to engage in spiritual warfare that places humanity into a perilous downward spiral of immorality and sinful aspirations, we see little effort from the pulpits toward combating the evils aligned with his distortion of truth. Instead, we see a common theme now running through mainstream ministry efforts: churches inadvertently conveying support for a mob mentality.

While many of today’s issues affecting our society cannot be ignored, they cannot be resolved by engaging in mass hysteria and anxiety. The only standard to be used to convey any resolution is the truth from the word of God. However, as she says, many are no longer interested in the truth but in a dextral monologue of sin and acceptance of the evils afoot. Any churches that see a need to agree with the evil mannerisms of many of these activist groups are actually revealing that they are disconnected from the Spirit of God and no longer under His influence.

When you take away the one thing most needed to effectively affect something, you leave everything to the circumstances of what is. Hence, the chaos and destruction are now on our streets. The Church is the only bastion of hope for humanity, and there is no other organization coming after it, as when it leaves the earth, all who are still here will face the wrath of God that no one could ever imagine. The details of how all of this ends are already laid out in the annals of scripture, but intertwined in that detail are facts about God not taking His vengeance on anyone who receives Christ as Lord, so the prospect of an end-time harvest of souls still looms over the heads of the body of Christ.

Though currently, we see a lot of despair among Christians there is a large number of believers who know the truth and can remain free from the evils of the day concerting a gospel that says Jesus Christ is still Lord of all. Reagan’s video is a testimony to that fact, as she says she does not have to give in to the mob rule currently running shod over cities, churches, businesses, and the citizens of this nation, and neither do you if you are willing to stand and fight. Romans 8:31 (KJV) 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

  • The reality is that the Church is either for righteousness or against it, either for the truth or against it, either for peace or against it, it does not make any difference what the issue is it makes a difference what the Church does regarding it. For those Christians who only want to maintain a status quo of attendance for fulfilling an emotional via, you wait and see. What you think is faith in Christ will turn out to be a placated holding on to what made you feel good, but has no power to fight what is removing your right as a child of God. If the Church would arise and be one voice of truth then nothing on earth could stand in its way. The problem is we have leaders who see appeasement as an opportunity to get more of the same, money, fame, and peer acceptance.

Today’s churches are an offshoot of the entertainment industry, where praise and worship are overtly and blatantly filled with worldly characteristics to the point that even a performance by Beyoncé fails to elicit a gasp. And pulpit doxology is of nothing more than a rendering of humanist ideals to garner a mindset that everything is going to be alright, even though you are not being built up in faith to overcome any of it. For all you Christians who are willing to take a stand, hold on to your faith in Christ cause you haven’t seen anything yet. The evils yet to come from those in the world and even from churches will take humanity to the brink of demonic toil, where they will desire death rather than life. This is when the Church will have its greatest harvest of souls.
