In the early years of the Church, pious leadership sought to remove Israel’s influence and replace a literal understanding of truth with Platonic teaching, which has shaped most of the religious ideas we have today. An action that positioned the church into a caustic denial over spiritual exhortations while instilling a hateful distrust of Israel that unfortunately carries through to modern times. Though Israel is God’s chosen nation, the past teaching of replacement theology has for decades removed any love for her.
Today, many in the church are still anti-Semitic or anti-Israel, as they have been taught she has no right to be the Church as part of the foundation of a glorious kingdom. A taboo insight of scriptural truths God has laid out to us, as He says all are founded upon Israel’s history of a chosen nation, He intends to save at the end of it all. God has underlined in His word the fact that He has an eternal plan in mind that includes bringing into it both Jew and Gentile, who in the end are going to be, as He states, His Spiritual Offspring. Though humanity is ordained to bring about this spiritual lineage out of a presence on this earth, the devil’s influence upon such a process distorts the purpose of it and brings about evil and wicked works through a present ideal of religious control.
An example of such is seen in the fact that churches are in acceptance of the present manner of gender neutrality and homosexual norms, based on an evil perception that gender or sexual orientation is just a mere psychological issue rather than a created physiological one. This could be seen as a psychosis that’s layered in sexist activism that’s clearly void of any understanding of the truth. Math 19:4-6 And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
Today’s programs on television show sexuality are now seen as neutral in their influence by movies and programs that promote sex in almost every age format, narrating a wholehearted acceptance of sin and evil, implying there’s no male or female sexism present, as both are on equal ground. But the reality is, males and females have nothing to do with how they’re made sexually, so why think that they can change or control it? Scripture contains story after story of men and women having an impact on the spiritual and historical aspects of creation. This is why our enemy works to place in the mind thoughts that take away any real truth of God’s word, making it more important that we discern things correctly so that they will not be detrimental to our health and well-being.
It’s the common things in this world that are used against us as a means to gain an advantage in our souls. There is more reason today than ever before that truth from God’s word is imperative to one’s spiritual maturity, so that it trains them to have the ability to discern what is good and what is evil around them. Heb 5:14(NKJV) But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Those who’ve garnered an ill-minded manner toward the purpose of males and females are themselves void of any security of soul and find that fault of others comforts as a result.
There is a desperate attempt by activists to remove any sexual stigmas and reveal that no differences exist between them, a clear warning we have among us workers of iniquity who are willing to defy their own presence of being. The Church is at war against any evil at work to destroy humanity’s sexual diversity. And yet today, there is a willingness to spread the narrative that the gospel is aligned only with salvation, not with transforming lives. This leaves a void in the elements needed for its occupants to fully mature. As today’s churches no longer see the word as essential to the work of ministry to the masses, they have developed programs filled with dissertations on worldly preambles to entertainment-style praise and worship, seen as over the top.
I am reminded of an old story about a frog placed in a pot of water and then put on a stove, with the temperature slowly raised until it was cooked. This raises the question of why the frog didn’t jump out during the process. I think the enemy is using the same tactics to change the nature and character of churches by slowly changing the culture of it, and he’s doing it at a pace that doesn’t create attention to the evil in it. So, how do you change a culture? First, you remove or cease from any of its past mannerisms revealing any faults or failures within its history, then you tell lies carefully narrated to establish a new manner of thinking that’s unwilling to do any of the same.
This is exactly what’s taking place in society and in churches: what used to be the mainstay of a nation and the Church is now being replaced by secular, humanistic teaching that’s intended to elevate creation above its creator. The culture of this nation is rooted in the fact that its value of liberty and justice for all is laid out in an integral part of its Judeo-Christian background. But today we are a culture under attack from workers of iniquity both in society and in churches. And just as scripture clearly reveals, we will see a covert operation of the enemy changing the word of God deceptively so that many will follow after them, ignorantly becoming workers of its taboos.
2 Pet 2:1-3 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. Notice in verse 2, it says the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. This isn’t referring to a manner of speech that actually slanders the word; it means to speak in ways that covertly make the words appear as still true, and yet narrated for a deceptive purpose. Also in verse 3, he says that by using feigned words, these are just artificial substitutes for truth and fictitious in meaning, they will be without any inherent power.
2 Tim 3:13-17 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. Paul emphasizes the importance of staying true to what has been learned from the scriptures, as they have brought wisdom leading to salvation. The root word in Greek for the word translated perfectly in this verse is (arti), and it means a suspended state or present manner without change.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. This is where the Church should be regarding all things present in humanity that are living in the new revelation of truth concerning God’s word and the evils associated with them. So whether it’s by present-day prophets or spirit-led lay, the word is still working by His power. It is at the end that the Church’s struggle will not be solely against the devil, but against people easily led to do evil through ignorance and stupidity; this makes the Church’s battleground much broader.
The faults that lie within the Church cause many to be void of life as God has purposed and accomplished by pulpits turning away from the truth, leaving hearts and minds who are deceived to do contrary to His word. As many churches make the past traditions of ministry the taboos of today, truth is no longer seen as necessary in this new age of trending emotional idealism. And though the early Church had its faults of religious piety based on Platonic ideals that deceived people for almost two millennia, the later form of plagiarisms of the world’s order of things is far more heinous and deceptive.
Like Eve in the garden, we too are in a moment of deception by our enemy, the devil, through arenas of influence in society and our churches. I know all of this is disheartening and hard to swallow but hold on to your faith in God and His word, though our enemy has laid his bastions of ignorance and deceits among the Church, the end of his evil shenanigans is coming to an end, and with it, outpourings of the Spirit of God never before seen or ever will be seen again on planet earth. As God is not a liar, what He has said will be despite us and our continuance of a heart that’s evil continually. Gen. 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
