Whether it’s a manufacturing company, Democratic politics, climate change dribble, or the progressiveness of the left, there is a common denominator at work here that clearly shows how badly humanity can be when it’s on its own in defiance of God. So, in my keeping with my usual rant against any evil and its opportunities, let’s review some basic spiritual sense on this as it’s seen within scripture to get a picture of what is yet to come.
Every manner of perverted behavior before God is grievous to Him no matter what manner of sin is present. And any denial of God is a direct rebuff of all evidence seen in the creation. This reflects the carnality of us in a way that should be of great concern for all, as it reveals we will destroy even our own existence for the liberty of ignorance and selfish rage.
Rom 1:20-32 (MSG) By taking a long and thoughtful look at what God has created, people have always been able to see what their eyes as such can’t see: eternal power, for instance, and the mystery of his divine being. So nobody has a good excuse. Anyone who denies there’s a God is conformed to the effects of every manner of the evil present here, thus removing them from His eternal purpose and seeing sin as the natural thing to do revealed by a behavior costing both their present and eternal life.
21 What happened was this: People knew God perfectly well, but when they didn’t treat him like God, refusing to worship him, they trivialized themselves into silliness and confusion so that there was neither sense nor direction left in their lives. 22 They pretended to know it all, but were illiterate regarding life. We need the truth regarding sin’s attempt to satisfy a nature that destroys us, and it’s all apparent in the fact that it is still among us. Every individual who chooses to degrade their creator by some self-righteous ‘idolisms’ chooses to trade a purposely created glory for the darkness of evils immoral ways.
23 They traded the glory of God who holds the whole world in his hands for cheap figurines you can buy at any roadside stand. 24 So God said, in effect, “If that’s what you want, that’s what you get.” It wasn’t long before they were living in a pigpen, smeared with filth, filthy inside and out. This immoral manner of life is now a natural way of living to them, as it becomes their lifestyle because it’s being ingrained into their nature to the degree they now desire to live in such perversion. The result is an internal conflict of soul and spirit that demeans any Godly living.
25 And all this because they traded the true God for a fake god, and worshiped the god they made instead of the God who made them—the God we bless, the God who blesses us. Oh, yes! We can see how we will garner a perverse mindset, by thinking what we choose to do in this lifestyle of darkness is far better than anything a creator God could ever do for us.
26 Worse followed. Refusing to know God, they soon didn’t know how to be human either women didn’t know how to be women, men didn’t know how to be men. 27 Sexually confused, they abused and defiled one another, women with women, men with men all lust, no love. And then they paid for it, oh, how they paid for it emptied of God and love, godless and loveless wretches. What is the end result of all this? It is individuals who are now unconscious of His created purpose seeking to fulfill a perversely carnal behavior void of any love for God but only of self.
28 Since they didn’t bother to acknowledge God, God quit bothering them and let them run loose. From the beginning God has done nothing against a person’s will, they are free to choose to do whatever they want, that includes choosing to deny Christ and the God who created them. They’re constantly embattled in warfare of mind trying to reason out and justify every event in their life.
29 And then all hell broke loose; rampant evil, grabbing and grasping, vicious backstabbing. They made life hell on earth with their envy, wanton killing, bickering, and cheating. Look at them: mean-spirited, venomous, 30 fork-tongued God-bashers. Bullies, swaggerers, insufferable windbags! They keep inventing new ways of wrecking lives. They ditch their parents when they get in the way. 31 Stupid, slimy, cruel, cold-blooded. These sinners provoke others to engage in sinful lifestyles by claiming anyone against such living is bigots, social intolerants, phobic, racist, or of some sort of religious stigma. And yet all along all of this is to cover up immorality completely defiant of God.
32 And it’s not as if they don’t know better. They know perfectly well they’re spitting in God’s face. And they don’t care, they hand out prizes to those who do the worst things best! Liberalism promotes sin and disrupts society through media narratives to create secular activisms that today invade many churches. This is revealed in the fact social pandering to bring others into the Church is going on daily through the ministry of an emotionally charged expletive that’s filled with enticing lies, a promotion of discord that’s done by simply saying sin is easily transfigured to appear as an incorrect perception of what one does. And at its best liberalism uses social platforms, political arenas, government, and even educational environments to promote an uncivil influence upon society to cover up their perverted behavior.
The hate for anything or anyone that represents a civil minded manner among society is today under an oppressive work of the enemy and reveals that in the era ahead of us up to the return of Jesus Christ will be one that’s filled with a turmoil of soul. Not for Christians but for all who have garnered this mindedness of defiance of God. Today we even have churches purposely working to help engineer society to be void of civility and Godly mannerisms for showing moral or ethical standards exist, charging that anyone in disagreement with this, is out of character to political correct phobias by the prejudice of mind, or just acting religiously pious.
